A Studio Experience

Located in North Vancouver’s historical Shipyards District, Think Tank’s state-of-the-art campus is built to mirror the real-world studios our students dream of joining. Every workstation is equipped with industry tools, and our new Portfolio Production Lab brings artists together in an advanced, studio-style setting.


Elevated Specializations 

Go beyond CG Assets. Learning in person means more opportunities to specialize in a particular field of 3D. In addition to Characters & Environments, Campus Students can develop a portfolio focusing on Animation, Visual Effects + more. Plus, specializing on Campus means teaming up with an industry mentor currently working in your specialization. Cool, right?  

A Space to Connect & Create 

Likeminded artists, industry mentors and studio reps...being on campus means collaborating and building a network with some of the most talented creators in 3D. Work side-by-side with other students, take in a recruiter talk in the lounge, or join a Life Drawing class. Don’t forget to take lunch with your team (there’s a great empanada stand nearby).

Welcome to Hollywood North: a city where creativity and opportunity collide. Vancouver is home to world-renowned studios like EA, Sony Imageworks, and ILM, and a constant flow of industry recruiters and professionals. For Think Tank students, this means direct exposure to the people and places defining Film, Games, and VFX today, and a clear path toward joining them.

With 15 years at Sony and a career spanning blockbuster titles, Greg knows what it takes to succeed. In this session, he’ll walk you through what it means to become a Houdini artist, the value it has for studios, and how to get started.
