The Imagination in Motion scholarship is a new initiative supporting underrepresented artists in British Columbia. Starting in June 2025, this program offers recipients the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of 3D art and take their first steps toward a career in the 3D graphics, animation and VFX industry.

Successful applicants must be a Resident of British Columbia at the time of applying. People of all genders, abilities, identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

ONLINE / 16 WEEKS / CERTIFICATE

Held entirely online, this short and intensive program teaches the fundamentals 3D Modeling, Texturing and Lighting. A great stepping stone to more advanced education, this program will help you identify which part of the industry you’d like to specialize in.

Create a high quality CG Asset

Spend the last part of your program developing a fully rendered 3D asset based on an original 2D concept. These final projects often become valuable additions to an artists portfolio.
